Unlock D100 Huawei WiFi Router Gateway Free Instructions via Firmware Upgrade Process – Recently i had written article about Huawei D100 O2 Surf Station (Germany). Huawei D100 wifi router gateway is different than other USB modems and routers. Huawei D100 gateway needs USB modem to use it.

Like another WiFi Routers, Gateway and Modems Huawei D100 can also be unlocked. But, unlocking of Huawei D100 Router Gateway is different than the Huawei USB modems and routers. Huawei D100 Router Gateway can not be unlocked with card lock unlock tool or Huawei modem code writer tool, because Huawei D100 Router Gateway has no USB port. Huawei D100 Router Gateway comes with LAN ports. But, Huawei D100 Router Gateway can be unlocked with FMC unlocker tool. To unlock your D100 Huawei WiFi Router Gateway, connect via RJ45 cable to PC and close all the running software.
Now run FMC unlocker software and detect your device under that.
Now when D100 imei will be visible in FMC unlocker software then put unlock code and

Unlock Huawei B970, B970B via firmware upgrade process free

I have provided so many solutions for unlock Huawei WiFi MiFi router, Huawei modems, zte, alcatel, novatel, teracom, visiontek, idea, airtel, tata docomo, vodafone, safaricom etc brand modems. I provided solutions for all Huawei E5 series WiFi MiFi routers already. Like another Huawei E5 series routers Huawei B970 and Huawei B970B routers don’t have USB port and its difficult to unlock. But, still it can be unlocked with the help of FMC Unlocker software. I already provided solution for uncustomised firmware of Huawei B970 and Huawei B970B routers and today I am providing the solution of customised Huawei B970 and Huawei B970B routers. Customised Huawei B970 and Huawei B970B routers needs to flashed before unlocking it. Flash file download link is provided at the end of the article.

Step by step procedure to flash Huawei B970 and Huawei B970B routers free :-

Download firmware update from the link which is provided at the end of the article.
Now extract the update package in a folder in your PC.
Now connect your Huawei B970 or Huawei B970B router using a LAN cable to PC.
Now factory reset Huawei B970 or B970B router.
To do factory resetting go to Advanced Settings – System – Restore Defaults – and click on restore.
Let Huawei B970 or B970B reboot.
Now unplug and remove the default SIM.
Now connect your Huawei B970 or B970B router with PC and assign a fixed IP for your LAN connection in the same range as the default one. (i.e. 192.168.1.21).
Now Run FmcUpdate.exe

Click Check.
Your Huawei B970 or B970B router should be detected and it will list the current firmware and the target firmware.
Click Update.
Now the update process will start. It may take upto about 20 mins to complete the firmware update.

If at any point the firmware update process fails to update a certain component take careful note and then remove those files from the extracted folder and repeat the update steps. The update will detect leftover files that are missing and skip over updating them. Now it will allow for the rest of the update to resume.

Now wait till finish the process.
Don’t interrupt in between the firmware update process, otherwise your B960 Huawei Wireless

Method of Unlocking :-

Download and extract the zip files from the links above.
Insert your modem into the USB Port of your computer.
Make sure no program is using the modem.
Open Huawei e158 update folder and double click on (E158Update_11.609.18.01.158.B427)

Accept the terms and conditions for e158 updater and click Next
The e158 firmware updater window will now start searching for device.

When you click next after a device has been detected a warning window appears.
If you are prompted to enter a password, start the huawei modem unlocker

Type in the IMEI number of your e 158 modem and click generate
You will get two codes in the box one is unlock code and the other is flash code.
Copy the 8 digit flash code, marked with red ellipse, this 8 digit flash code is the password for the e 158 updater.
Now you can enter this password and and update your firmware to an unlocked version.

If the updater does not ask for a password, you may be asked to enter unlock code if you try to connect to the internet later. Use the unlock code, marked with green ellipse.

How to Unlock Huawei D100 O2 Surf Station (Germany) Router / Gateway

Unlock Huawei D100 O2 Surf Station (Germany) Router / Gateway Free Instructions – Like various other routers / gateway / WiFi / MiFi routers Huawei D100 O2 Surf Station (Germany) can also be unlocked. But unlocking of Huawei D100 O2 Surf Station (Germany) is slightly different and it can not unlocked with Huawei Code Writer tool. After downloading the firmware extract in a folder in your PC.
Now Power on the Huawei D100 O2 Surf Station (Germany) and connect it to computer through original Ethernet cable.
Now Launch FmcUpdate.exe.
Click on the “Check” button to detect your Huawei D100 O2 Surf Station (Germany) and shift it to update mode.
Click on the “Upgrade” button to start the update.
Wait till the finish.
After upgrade, disconnect the Ethernet cable and push the reset button of the Huawei D100 O2 Surf Station (Germany) (in the lower right corner of the backside you will find the reset button) or alternatively you can restore factory defaults through the web interface
To reset through webpage open http://192.168.1.1 in your browser and enter “admin” as default password, then go to Advanced Settings – System – Restore Defaults -Restore.

Now turn-on the router and go to the GUI by opening http://192.168.1.1 in your browser and enter “admin” as password to get access in admin panel of router.
To activate an network access profile for your network operator, go to Advanced Settings – Dial Up Settings – Profile Settings and chose your provider from the Profile List.

Note – If your network provider’s settings are not included, just create a new profile by entering a Profile Name and all the other information required below and click on Save.
