How to Unlock Huawei 3G Modem E173, E1550 and E1750? Like zte, micromax Huawei is the leading manufacturer of 3G Modem as we all know. Before starting the unlocking process of Huawei Modems, there are few things which you should know. First, make sure that your data card is detected in your desktop / laptop / PC and you should know your IMEI number (IMEI number is a 15 digit number printed on the device). To know the 15 digit IMEI of your modem, see the back side of the modem.

How to unlock your huawei e173, e1750 or e1550 datacard :-

Download Universal Master Code.exe from the download link which is provided at the end of the article.

Enter your 15 Digit IMEI number in Huawei tab, as shown in the below screen and press Calculate for Unlock Code and Flash Code.
Plug your data card with an unaccepted SIM to your PC.

Extract the zip file and run HUAWEI_MODEM_Code_Writer.exe

Press ” Detect” and choose your modem type in dropdown list. Then press ” Accept”.
Press ” Unlock Modem “, a pop up window will appear asking you to enter the Unlock Code.
Enter the Unlock code from Universal Master Code in the field provided and click ” OK “.
Press ” Unlock Modem ” (Your Huawei modem E1750 or E1550 is now unlocked and can be used with any another SIM after creating a new profile).

Note : The above guide cannot be applied with Customized Firmware modem, to unlock customised firmware you need to flash the modem first, then it will accept the unlock code.

How to Unlock PHS300 Guide and Download Software Free

I have already written so many article of unlocking about ZTE, Huawei, Micromax, Airtel, Aircel, Vodafone, Idea, Tata Docomo and Reliance modems. Today i am writing article about different manufacturer. Modem PHS300 is manufactured by Prolink and identical in hardware if compare to ZTE modem MF190, and they all are unlocked by DC unlocker cracked version. Unlock Prolink modem PHS300 is so simple, but with a trick only you can unlock prolink PHS300 modem .

Create or modify Huawei Mobile Partner Dashboard by your own

Many users keep downloading different look Huawei Mobile Dashboard, but have you ever wanted to know how you can create your own Huawei Mobile Dashboard with custom image. Yes, I will give you full tutorial how to make / create / modify Huawei Mobile Partner Dashboard free. There is no technical knowledge is required for create or modify Huawei Mobile Dashboard. Only you need one tool that is called WinRar (Download it from here).

Now copy your huawei mobile partner software in a folder on your PC desktop. In my example you can see the screenshot :-

You will have at least two file in your folder -data and setup. Forget about all another file and concentrate on data file. Everything you have to do in your data.bin file (data file extension is .bin).

Step by step tutorial / hack to change huawei dashboard :-

Open winrar software and navigate to your Huawei folder which you have created.

Now double click on data.bin file to open it.

Now select both file and drag all files from the winrar to folder.

Here you can change, what ever you want to change, you can do it your own.
Suppose, if you want to change the skin, then just open skin folder and do the necessary changes in image or whatever you want.

Note :

Select the image to which you want to change as per your choice. As you can see the first image of my article we have change the image of default skin of mobile partner, i have written my website name on the top of default skin of Huawei Mobile Partner.
After doing the necessary changes, when you are satisfied then delete all data.bin file from your folder.
Now you have folder named common and file SysConfig.dat which you have extracted from data.bin. Now we have to put it back on data.bin file. For this follow the next step.
Now close the winrar and go to the custom huawei folder where you have file SysConfig.dat and folder common.
Select common folder and SysConfig.dat file both at time with the help of ctrl key and right click on it and click on Add to archieve…

Now delete the selected part (in my example Mobile_Partner_23_for_windows.rar) and put the name as data.bin and click on ok button.
Now its will create data.bin file which is the part of your dashboard.
After all the process you will get data.bin file.
Now your custom dashboard is ready for use in your computer.
If you want to install it in your computer then just double click on setup and follow the process.

If downloaded file is already in .iso format then continue with next step, if not in .iso then use folder2iso or any other software for creating .iso file.
Now run Huawei Dashboard Tool which you have already downloaded.
Click on Select button of “Input ISO image file” and select your .iso file from your PC.
Now click on Select button of “Output dashboard installer file” and select the path where you want to keep new dashboard .exe file.
After all the above step click on “Create dashboard” button.
After a few minute you will see a .exe file has been created on your specified location.

How to install or update the dashboard / connection manager of your huawei modem :-

Make sure that your have .exe file for updating the Huawei modem dashboard.
Now plug your Huawei modem to PC using USB and let the modem to install driver in your PC.
Disconnect from internet if already connected to internet and close the software of modem.
After all the above process, double click on dashboard which you have already created.
Just select the radio button “I accept the agreement” and click on Next button. It will search your modem port on which your modem is connected.

Update Information - Huawei dashboard
Click on next button and its will start downloading the dashboard in your modem.

After a few seconds you will get finish button. Click on Finish button.

Now your Huawei modem has a new dashboard.
Now eject the modem from PC and connect again and install to PC.

Note : Before doing this process make sure that battery is full. Do not shutdown or log off your PC, otherwise your Huawei modem may be corrupt. By doing this process your warranty will be lost.
